interview

I interviewed my friend Dr. Mazen about "Technology", and he thankfully dispatched the following responses:

Interviewer: Abd al hameed jabsheh     interviewee: Dr. Mazen Rabay'aa

Abd: what does technology mean to you?

Mazen: well it means making life easier and easier ; it means being successful in doing anything with less time and effort, and it also means achieving your goals quickly.
Abd: could you imagine living without technology one day of your life?

Mazen: ok . it is very difficult ; I mean imagine having no computers ,telephones , mobiles,  and electricity; my god. It is so hard . I could not understand how people in the past could live without all the things  I mentioned.

Abd: what about technology and privacy; do you think that we have privacy today?

Mazen : I think that the life of each one of us is totally exposed; I mean nowadays we have great number of hackers who are able to spy on your personal life. Yes it is a big problem

a day without technology

technology has changed the modern human being into a machine that is acting without a great deal of feelings. this is totally dangerous -having little room for feelings- because humanity cant achieve develompment if they don't  have enough feelings even to techology itself.
i think it is so romantic living without technology ; humanity did achieve a great deal of  development during the romantic age.

Technology

i think one doesn't have to use complex devices or hardware in order to be classified as a " technology person"; of course this is true in teaching and learnig process because we can't say that the one who uses a computer is a good teacher and that the other is not; the egyptians ,for example, did build the pyramids without having computers and internet access;still; we can't claim nowadays that the egyptians weren't "technological society" in that sense.
